The evening of February 22nd crackled with energy at the Bloor Cinema. A powerful documentary film, Lowdown Tracks, chronicles the stories of a people living on the streets who are musicians. The film launched the Toronto Alliance to End Homelessness's campaign to find homes for 2,000 of the 5,000 people who live on the streets or in emergency shelters each night in Toronto. The campaign is part of the larger national campaign to house 20,000 people in three years. You can view this remarkable film HERE.
