An evening event in TWO STEPS made October 1, 2014 a terrific celebration of Fred Victor’s 120th anniversary.

STEP ONE of our evening's festivities took place at our historic site at 145 Queen Street East with a free turkey dinner for tenants and program participants. Special guests Mayoralty candidate Olivia Chow, MPP Arthur Potts, Second Cup co-founder Frank O’Dea and Executive Director Mark Aston broke bread with our community.
STEP TWO of our evening's festivities at St. James Cathedral Centre, we hosted 170 Fred Victor supporters.

Warm thanks to our sponsors: Scotiabank, HotHouse Café, Steam Whistle Brewing and Prairie Girl Bakery and to our very special guest of honour, inspirational speaker Frank O’Dea, co-founder of Second Cup, who touched many hearts with his remarkable story.
We pay tribute to our long-standing donors, and were especially delighted to meet some of our senior supporters who attended the event. Thanks, too, to Jim Patterson who attended from the Toronto United Church Council (TUCC) and to the many other United Church bodies who have funded Fred Victor programs over the past many, many years.
We extend heartfelt thanks to volunteers and staff who went the extra mile including Fred Victor speakers Shannon Taylor and Steve Morrissey.
