It’s hard to believe, but yes, it’s almost a month ago we celebrated our community garden’s harvest at Fred Victor. And at that time there were golden leaves on the ground, not snow! So, take this little “news” piece as a happy memory of the beautiful autumn we had and the hospitable, healthy-food event at our Open House program on Thursday, October 23 afternoon. Twenty participants from our Garden Group showcased their photographs of the garden. There were new, beautiful table covers at the drop-in, too, created by the Art Group. Good soup and lots of nice desserts lifted the mood further. The yearly Harvest Festival is always looked forward to, by both staff and community.
