On Wednesday, April 1, Community Resource Connections of Toronto (CRCT) integrated with Fred Victor. There was a great turn-out for the celebration to mark the occasion and the buzz and ease of everyone together suggested it will be a very happy marriage.
Fred Victor's steelpan band played while the two staffs mingled, ate Friends Catering fare, signed their names on a huge Fred Victor logo and played get-to-know you games. Executive Director Mark Aston warmly welcomed everyone and then the raffle began.
CRCT’s Director of Operations, Vesna Milinkovic, says, “We’re looking forward to this new chapter. It will be created from CRCT’s legacy of innovation and leadership in community mental health and Fred Victor’s longevity and strategic development. Both of our organizations have earned the public’s confidence with their remarkable achievements. Now, our integrated organization will offer enhanced, evidence-based services to vulnerable and diverse populations in the City of Toronto.”
Fred Victor’s Executive Director Mark Aston agrees, “We’re looking forward to connecting our two organizations together and making stronger service links. We will have greater capacity as an integrated organization than we did as separate entities — a chance to serve more people in a more effective manner."
Congratulations and thanks to everyone who worked through the legal and administrative details so that we all landed together at Fred Victor’s Administrative offices on time on April 1.
